Dr. Katie Johnson is a Colorado Native. She graduated from Cherry Creek High School and then attended the University of Denver where she received a bachelor of science in biology. After college, she attended the University of Southern California where she graduated with her DDS degree in 2008. She then continued on with her dental education and completed an additional year of training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Idaho State University.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metropolitan Denver Dental Society. Dr. Johnson has been selected by her peers as a 5280 Top Dentist. She believes that continuing education is a very important part of providing the very best dental care, and she is very active in many different study clubs and organizations. She has focused a lot of her learning on treatment for jaw pain, bite problems, airway related problems, as well as implant restorations.
Dr. Johnson strives to create a dental experience that is pain free and relaxing, built on a foundation of trust between the doctor and patient. She believes that the patient and the doctor should decide together the best course of treatment to achieve the optimal desired result.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her two dogs, trying new restaurants, hiking, reading, and traveling.
