Dr. Ruzo is from Dallas, Texas, and recently moved to Colorado. She attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. She earned her DDS degree at UT Health San Antonio followed by an Advanced General Dentistry residency program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Ruzo is extremely passionate about participating in dental mission trips and has traveled to several countries to volunteer her time. It was a mission trip to Panama that sparked her initial interest in the field of dentistry. She is proud of her Hispanic heritage, having roots in Central and South America, and is very excited to be able to offer her services as a bilingual speaker to the Castle Rock community. In her spare time, Dr. Ruzo loves to hike, play sand volleyball, and practice yoga.
